Anodizing bath additive which results in increased hardness of anodic oxide layers. With Polytoxal EK 57 additions, anodising can be done at higher temperatures (around 250C) and lower voltages (about 1-2 Volts lower) and at higher dissolved aluminum concentrations (more than 15 g/l).
